I've been listening to some new music lately, although everything seems new to me. I haven't bought a new CD in a while, and I haven't been keeping up with the latest "hits" on the radio.
I've been reading/hearing a bit of Feist and decided to find out what all the hype is about. And I must say, I wasn't disappointed. I was surprised at the sultriness of the music. I was thinking that with the name Feist, I'd be hearing something similar to, oh, say, Garbage, or Pink, or Gwen Stefani. But it's more Fiona Apple, or something - Jazzy vocals. I'm a fan now, and I think I will purchase her CD someday.
I say someday, since my finances are a smidgen tight these days. I've developed a list of Cds and other things that I'd like to buy in the next little while. These are my "want" lists.
My extra luxuries, these days, have been dinner dates and lunches, and to help replace some old clothes (or clothes I no longer fit). sniffle.
Hmmm, I guess it's time to take my lack of exercising more seriously now that the big day is coming soon...

Buy CD's? Why when you can download. I know you might want to support the artist but you have better things to spend money on like Steve's 50" Plasma Screen TV.
