I can't believe I forgot to blog about the Sun Run! I like blogging about it, so I can publicly record my time on my blog, and either have people ridicule me or praise me.
Unfortunately, I'm not much of a runner so my time is always slow, so you're welcome to ridicule me if you like. On the other hand, I beat my time by approximately 3.5 minutes! That's pretty good considering that I stopped mid-way, this year, to conduct my fiance's dad's band! I probably would've beat my time by another 3 minutes if I hadn't stopped to say "hi" to the band. (the conductor, then asked me to wave the baton around and conduct... Eep!).
2006 race time: 1:38:27
2007 race time: 1:34:50
This year I ran with IZ, rather than my usual team of Lisa's. My older sis wasn't feeling well and didn't run, as planned. Also, I was supposed to run with LL but we couldn't meet up because the crowds were so large!
In any case, it was a good workout, but extremely painful. I barely trained, if at all and I paid for it afterwards - I was sooooo sore. IZ on the other hand felt NOTHING because she does yoga etc.. I don't think I'll do yoga, still, though, except at home occasionally. I'll just need to train next year...

Congrats on the time!!!
Umm....how do you conduct a band? Just swing your hands??
The only running I can relate to is the Milk Run we used to do in high school. Nothing like running for a few K then after feeling tired and thirsty getting a thick glass of milk to drink. Phlegm City.
As for you well done. You did beat your time from last year but I think the next time you should be timed by calendar. haha
What was IZ time. I bet it was great as she is used to running away from immigration officers.
IZ does Yoga.... ah.... I could watch that for hours. creepy wgbc
