2008 is a year for change. Not that 2007 didn't see any changes.
2007 Review
I am happy to say that I survived 2007 relatively unscathed. The beginning of the year was rocky, with me moving, SHC's car loss, some family stuff, friends kerfuffle. SHC also started a new job in 2007, and we were married in August.
It was an exciting and interesting year, mingled with challenges and frustrations. I am happy it is over, though, as I can now look forward to 2008's excitement.
2008 Events
The new year passed with little excitement! Yay! There were no floods, no car accidents, nothing stolen. I was sooo happy on January 1, because this is how a new year should start... uneventful and peaceful.
This upcoming year will see some changes in some friends lives, with new births and babies, and upcoming weddings! Excitement all around!
2008 will also be an entire year of being married! :D
I am optimistic that 2008 will be a good year. Let's hope my enthusiasm and optimism continue.

I dont recall Friends Kerfuffle? haha Now for the review.
Britney/Amy Winehouse/Lindsay/Paris were their usual "train-wreck" selves. War their deaths in '08 so I dont have to hear about them anymore.
Conrad Black went to Jail. White guy/white collar crime is so 5 years ago. War his arrogance getting him attacked in prison.
Michael Vick killed some dogs. Too bad they weren't unleashed on him for punishement.
Don Imus called a bunch of "Happy Headed Ho's"... ahhh "Happy Headed Ho's". War the world being less offended in '08 of what an old white bigot says about female basketball players nobody cares about anyways.
Death to all religion. Now have I got your attention. "God is not great and religion posions everything" is a book I just finished and I couldn't agree more.
The Canadian Dollar is at parity and I hope it goes to about $1.50 US which will coinicide with "Chapters" making the Cdn-US price equal.... the bastards.
Finally, in 2007 I witnessed a good friend of mine get married. silly girl. wgbc is out in 07
