More on tasering

A 68 year old man is stopped for a traffic violation. He disagrees with the officer and drives off. He then decides it was a bad idea for driving off, and pulls over, then gets out of the car to approach the police officer. The officer sees this as a form of aggression. The man, then starts getting defensive by raising his arms against the officer, and he is tasered.

Feel free to disagree with me, but if I was a cop, and someone (no matter what age) drove off in a car while I was writing a ticket, then stops the car while in pursuit, gets out, and heads directly to you, I would have sufficient cause to feel endangered and to protect myself.

I'm not sure about the use of a taser, but in general, the circumstances warrant some force by the police officer. Tasering a 68 year old man was probably not a good idea, but seriously people... get a brain and don't provoke the police, ever!

No argument here. If the cop asks you to do something DO IT. If you dont speak the language well enough that's your fault. Also, being that body language is 70% of communication you should figure out that there is a problem and act accordingly.... like letting the officer approach you and not the other way around.

If you are that stupid to come up to an officer you take your chances.

War tasering all future stupid people.
War tasering all people immediately after they say "Do you know who I am?"
War tasering all people who dont speak the language of the country they are in.... oops... too far.
