My weekend was exhausting.
Friday night went clubbing. I think I might've hurt my ear drums because my ears are still ringing. I hope it goes away soon. If not, I will have to visit the doctor. I've decided that I am no longer suited to go clubbing, so I guess Friday would be my last clubbing night with my buddies (sorry, but my health comes first!).
I was sick Saturday (no faking!) - just really tired, dizzy, a teeny cough, and general feeling of weak and cold, although I did tutor my one student. Then I got home and slept and slept, until an unhappy phone call.
Only 2 cubs attending camp. TWO?? Instant dizziness and headache. Panic mode. Then to problem-solving mode. Then to worry mode. I slept early that night. All that work to plan a camp, and only TWO cubs from our group going??
Sunday, woke up early to meet my sis for breakfast and then cancelled tutoring. Returned home to crawl back into bed. Woke up for lunch, and then did major grocery shopping ($100 worth, which is a LOT for me). Then I receive a happy phone call to say 6 out of 10 cubs are going to camp. Much more acceptable. Feeling of relief.
Now... production mode - I need to get the theme, story, and profiles for the camp all ready by tomorrow's leader meeting.
My ears are still ringing though, and I'm a little dizzy (a balance thing, I think, related to my ears). Perhaps I'll see the doc at work to see what's up, either today or tomorrow. In any case, it's time for me to make that dreaded apptmt with the dentist...
And oh yea, I won't be posting much this week - too much camp prep stuff to take care of...
