Driving

I love driving in the city at night when the streets are almost empty. It's quiet, and there's no hustle and bustle coming from pedestrians and rush-hour cars. There is only silence and relaxation.

I love driving on the highway, on those long stretches of pavement. No traffic lights, and much less road-rage. Rows of green trees whiz by. Fields of green and farm-yard animals graze to your left and right.

I love seeing the mountains and rivers, reminding me of Hometown BC, where everything is always much slower. However, as much as I love being reminded of my birthplace, I would hate to return there, to live. It's a place that lacks excitement, a place where everything is the same. It's a place where I can no longer relate to, because childhood memories of that type are always sugar-coated.
