It's come to my attention that cropped men's trousers are considered stylish to some. I would never have assumed that cropped trousers would come into style at all. It's a strange look to me, to see shortly cropped pants that purposefully show-off bare ankles. Pair it with laced shoes and anklet socks, and my personal reaction would be a ??? look. Apparently, though, I am out of touch with men's fashion, because this look has been around for a little while. A quick Google search on "cropped trousers for men" brought up a few articles about the trend.

While I write this, though, I realize that North American fashion is much more conservative than either Asia or Europe. Overall, we are not as fashion-forward or liberal with some trends than other cultures or markets. If you want the latest in fashion trends, a trip to London, Paris, Japan, or Hong Kong might be the best places to find them. If you want just the "tried and true" with a bit of a twist, then North America might be the place for you.
Cropped trousers on men? There's something about that, that seems less dignified and less sophisticated than a regular-length pair of trousers... Or perhaps I'm just too old-fashioned!
