My Sabotaging Toddler

Little B is officially 3 years old.  Hooray for birthdays!  She is such a sweetie (most of the time).  So giggly and cute, loves to jump and dance, and sing, and generally makes a lot of noise.  Yes, noise.  She screams a lot, and squeals and yells.  And when I tell her to be more quiet and whisper, what does she do?  NO!!!  AAAHHHHHH!!!  Screams and stares at me in the highest pitchiest voice ever.  That gets her a time-out in her room.  And what does she do in her room??  Bawls her little eyes out, whether they are fake tears, or real, those tragic crying-fests tears my heart out.

I suppose sometimes I do spoil her.  I don't like yelling at Little B.  It's tough disciplining your toddler child.  No is such a tragic word for her.  But since Baby N entered our lives, I need to be tougher on Little B.

Situation:
Baby N is napping.  Little B is outside Baby's door talking loudly.

Me:  Little B, please be quiet.  Baby N is napping.

Little B:  Can I see?  I want to see Baby N.  Opens Baby N's door.  HI BABY N!!!   YOU'RE SO FUNNY!!  LOOK HE IS SLEEPING!!!!  AAAAHHHH!!!

Baby N:  WAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

Me:  Little B, go to your room!  I told you to be quiet, and now you've woken Baby N up!!

Both children:  WAAAAAHHH!!!

Sometimes my days can be extra exhausting...
