Little B's latest obsession is Pocoyo, a show for pre-schoolers of which I've never heard of, until it was brought to my attention at the local library. Little B picked out a DVD that she wanted to watch, so we signed it out, took it home, and popped it into the DVD player. Little B LOVES Pocoyo, now. If we see it in the library, she wants to take it home. I'm not so sure that she prefers it over Blues Clues, though, since she's been watching that over and over for the last few weeks. I always figured I wouldn't be THAT mom that plugs in videos for her 2 year old toddler, especially because two seems to be quite a young age. But I guess I am THAT mom, but Beth loves it, and her morning DVD has become a part of her routine.
For the older adults, who don't know what Pocoyo is, here is a clip of an episode, as found on Youtube:
Pocoyo is paired with "Peep and the Big Wide World" to make a 30-minute segment for toddlers, on the PBS (Public Broadcasting System) network. Grandma records it on the PVR, and Jared and Karina enjoy watching it just before their Mom comes for them. B can watch it next time she's here!
