Apple Upside-Down Cake

I felt like baking something today, with either apples or pears, since I seem to have an abundance of them.  I also felt like baking a cake.  So what did I end up this late afternoon?  An Apple Upside-Down Cake.  Mmmm, it smells delicious and is currently sitting atop of my stove, while dinner is in the oven.  I think I will be enjoying dessert tonight, with a nice scoop of ice-cream!
