Let's Self-Evaluate!

It's time for year-end self-evaluations.

Were your goals met?  Did you accomplish what you hoped to accomplish?  What are your new goals for the coming year?

It's time for our workplace self-evaluations.  It's also time for our personal self-evaluations for those who are avid New Years Resolutions folks.

I never try to create a firm list of resolutions, as I never stick to them, nor do I truly believe in having a list.  We should all just be trying to live better lives, and to do better than we have the day before, the week or month before, or the year before.  Make a mistake?  You learn from it and don't do it again.  That's pretty much what a resolution is... learn, and do better.

Having said that, one thing I don't seem to be learning, is to NOT eat any of B's food after she touches it.  It's like I'm asking, no begging, to get sick, whenever she is sick.  But it's just hard to see that food go to waste, and seeing that she GREW inside MY body, what's a little germ-sharing??  Obviously, this explains why I've been sick on and off for the last 4 or 5 weeks.  Plus, the air at work is just re-circulated and we all sit within close proximity to one another that when one person is sick, ten more people get sick.

Exercise:  I have little time to exercise, especially with work and baby, and trying to get some de-stressing activities into my weekend, plus chores.  I keep saying I should exercise more, but I never do, and my hip just keeps bothering me because of it.  Oh well, I suppose.  I'll find time eventually...  And if not... well... I'm "used to it" already.

Eating well, and cooking well:  I seem to be doing this already...  We cook a lot at home, and I'm starting to bake more, and more.  The downside to this, is that the kitchen is always messy since I hate doing dishes...

Hmmm, there's probably more on my list but it's one thing to consciously think of yourself critically, and another thing to air it out to the interweb for the world to read.

As I said before, I have no "true" resolutions.  Just that I'd like to do "better" than the previous year.  Eat better, spend better... just do better in general!

Happy December everyone!
