Today, Hubby and I worked in the garden. This day is literally the first day we worked on the lawn since last year. We are quite lazy, actually, when it comes to lawn work. Weeding, fertilizing, mowing, watering, etc.. Well, we are paying for it now, because there are a LOT of weeds in the lawn. We managed to weed the backyard today. We will mow the lawn another day, hopefully this weekend if the weather permits. And actually we have the front lawn to work on too, and the sides of the house.
Little B was happy watching us while we worked. She squealed and laughed and jumped up and down in her playpen. She was all slathered in baby sunblock, wearing her little play dress and sunhat. She seemed a little bored all by herself in the playpen while Mommy and Daddy worked in the garden, but that's how it goes. She needs to play on her own sometimes.
Yesterday I planted just a few seeds of corn, coriander, sunflowers and other veggies. It'll be nice to see if anything grows.
A few weeks back, I planted flower seeds in the front. Nothing I planted is growing. :(
Hopefully I'll learn how to get a green thumb, and then we'll have tasty veggies and beautiful flowers to look at!!
