Premier Gordon Campbell will be the soon-to-be Ex-Premier of BC!! Hooray!!! I just wish he wouldn't stay for another few months... what's the point? Just step down now, please!!
Hubby said to me the other day, that any praise Gordo receives is all true, so long as you add the phrase... "for rich people" after the statement.
Example: Gordon Campbell for the most part, was one of the best premiers in BC (for rich people).
Gordon Campbell helped increase take-home pay for British-Columbians (for rich people)...
So TRUE!! Too bad he didn't care about everyday people!!

Too bad that there isn't any political party that stands a chance at challenging the BC Liberals in any future provincial election... The NDP better start their make-over soon, if they want to gain popularity among the masses!!

What! you dont like the HST or how it was put in or that our premier was a lush. As a conservative err "liberal" he found a way to be more popular than Carole James and the only way that the NDP wins any future elctions is if they also elect a new leader. But as for Gordo i thought he represented West Point Grey very well....sadly that was about it.
PS. I still like the idea of the HST but with lower income taxes. Lower income taxes to a flat tax eg. 15% and make the HST higher. Why? People prove to spend more when they have more money to start with. So take it from them on the stuff they buy. That is a tax that will mostly affect the rich as they buy the most stuff. wgbc is out again.
