This morning was quite amusing, as I watched a municipal dump truck use our neighbour's driveway to turn around. 10 minutes later, two yellow school buses used my own driveway to turn around. You see... around the bend of the road on the street is an uphill, and many cars were unable to maneuver up the hill... Some cars, I assume, were sliding a little. They must not have had winter tires on. In this little suburban city of mine, you can't travel without winter tires, when it snows. There are too many hills and bends in the area, none of which can be avoided, if you are needing to travel in the snow.
Here is what commuters in my city are having to contend with... and you will see why it makes a comical situation to watch cars trying to maneuver on my road...
These pics were taken at 1pm today... and it's still snowing at 2pm...

A worker dumped some salt on walkway between our building and the front one. Very soon, more snow covered the walkway and steps again. I don't know how people survived cuz the Canada line was not running in the morning from Richmond to Vancouver. Finally the snow stopped around 3:30-ish. I just hope people have a safe trip back home.
Does little B like snow? Actually it is not that cold like the past weekend and Tue. I even had a walk outside.

Little B just looked out the window but she didn't give much of a reaction! I'm sure she'll love it when she can run around in the cold wet snow. Then, I will definitely get some exercise (and maybe a little helper to shovel the snow, haha!)
