Baby B had a reaction to her immunization shots! :(
She developed a fever in the evening, but we took care of it with some Baby Tylenol... I definitely recommend it to new parents to-be (hint, hint) to purchase some Baby Tylenol and have it ready, just in case for these types of reasons. We purchased some when Baby was 2 months old, and lo and behold, it was needed at 4 months of age! After administering the medicine, baby was put to bed for her sleep, and I watched over her until 1 am. She woke up several times during the night/morning due to some fussiness but her fever was down by 6am the next morning, yay!!
And some more relief of some kind... my 2 Thanksgiving dinners has been reduced to 1 Thanksgiving dinner, with the hubby's family.
I won't be having Thanksgiving dinner with my own family due to my twin and her hubby and neice all coming down with a cold/flu... symptoms included chills and general ickiness. Due to Bethany's latest jaunt with her own fever, we've decided to postpone it.
Now... I must check on my turkey, roasting in the oven. It's my first time cooking it on my own, and I hope it does not become disastrous!!
Happy Turkey Weekend, everyone!! And for those who aren't having turkey... Happy Long Weekend!!!
I give thanks to Thee oh Flying Spaghetti Monster that Baby B is her usual happy (although still somewhat cranky) self again!! :P
