Heat Wave and Transformers

1 of 2 transformers at the downtown substation is not working, so the whole downtown core is being run on one transformer in this nice heat wave. To help out, all businesses and residences downtown have been asked to turn off unneeded lights and electrical appliances. I am sitting in my space, with the lights off, but fan turned on. It's not bad actually. I like it with the lights off, since we get so much light from our windows.

One not-so-nice thing is that the cooling system in the building is only partially working, so while the fan is on, the a/c is blowing mildy warm air.

I know many people don't like this heat wave, but I think it feels nice. Once in a while, we need a heat wave to remind us that it's summer, especially since it rained most of June!

I first thought that you were going to talk about the movie, which is surprisingly good by the way, but instead it is a rant about how hot you are.... how modest of you.

Seriously though it's nice that you like working in the dark cuz' that's where you should be kept anyways.... especially when it comes to Steve's bachelor party.

If the a/c is blowing mildy warm air why isnt it turned off? Is this to make sure employee moral is at an all time high due to the fact that the ladies will come to work half naked. ahhhh yes.

As for this heat wave I hate it. Vancouver is meant to be cloudy or rainy all year round. This is what I grew up with. Now global warming is F**king this up and I blame those idiots whose a/c is blowing hot air.

P.S. june was beautiful, cool and mild and I got to golf 3 times so screw summer..... no wait... girls walking around wearing nothing... ahhh yes as for my rant... nevermind. wgbc
