Apparently we have an ant problem in the garage. They are munching on the wood in our garage door panels and today we are getting the entire garage fumigated. Interesting... I wonder how the problem started? We've noticed ant hills before in the alley way, but never considered them pests until we noticed wood-dust (saw dust?) along our garage. Where was it coming from? No idea. Until we decided to spray some bug spray, and see what would happen. Ants! Ick!
Ah well, hopefully the problem will be solved soon. Ants can be hard to get rid of, but hopefully fumigating the garage will eradicate them all. Hopefully, the structure of the garage wasn't compromised...

Carpenter ants are hard to get rid of but hopefully they weren't TOO settled in. Keep an eye for "holes" in the fence too...
I wonder if the neighbours have them too.....
Munching on Wood? I think I saw that in a Porn. haha
Actually my family has a mild ant problem at the basement entrance so we put down some poison which the ants eat and then they give it to the other ants. It's a drop of some type of liquid. It seems to work for about a couple of weeks but then they come back. We get them every summer.
Hope fumigating the garage works.
Wow. Wgbc with a straight take. I must be sick. out.
WGBC, try using half a lemon that's a bit moldy to get rid of your ants. Apparently, if you put a moldy lemon where the ants like to go, the ants will go away. Don't know if it will work, but I heard it from 2 different sources...
