Who knew?

Who knew I could so easily fall in love with a puppy. I'm calling my sis's new puppy, her "pupperonni". Although her real name is Cassie. She's such a cutie, and very mild. Last night we did a good job of tiring her out, at least I think. In any case, I didn't know that dogs could get stinky so easily. Well, there's always that wet dog smell, because Cassie always gets her face wet when she's drinking her water. It doesn't help with all that fur/hair all over her face, drip drip. Oh well. My sis is really good with the pup, and has a lot of patience. I don't think I could have that much patience. Also, it's strange to see her doing the baby talk thing with a dog. It think it's weird even to do baby talk to kids, but no matter. I want to get used to lifting and holding the puppy. I haven't been successful at that yet. She's really cute, and you can definitely tell when she's happy, playful, apprehensive, or tired. I think she picked a good breed of pup, and, suitable personality too for both her and her hubby.


In any case, other things you may not have known...

• No matter how hard you believe, and have faith, you can't walk on water, as a priest in the US discovered.
• Gay nativity scenes are a no-no. But I'd be interested in seeing one, myself.
• Not everyone loves Santa - kids (again in the US) pelted him with mincemeat pies. What a waste of yummy pies... Now Santa wears a hard hat when making his rounds with the kiddies.
  
• Brains beats brawn in Survivor. hahahahahahahahahaha. FINALLY, a survivor who deserves to win!!
  
• Apparently ski-jumping is considered too dangerous or "medically unfit" for women, and is banned in the Olympic games. So what makes ski-jumping more dangerous than ski aerials, women skeleton, luge, and bobsled??
• With the above logic, bicycling should be banned for men in Olympics, since studies indicate that it negatively affects fertility in men. This makes men "medically unfit" for the sport.
