Someone in the US was shot to death during a robbery of PS3 stations!!! Yikes! That's so horrible and so sad! This fellow lined up for 3 days to get the PS3, and while unloading the station from his car, was robbed and killed. What in the world would possess someone to kill someone over something so trivial?? This is making me feel terribly terribly sad, especially since I can imagine the excitement and glee and anticipation and pride that someone would feel after lining up for 3 days to get something they really really wanted. Crimes like these really do make me feel depressed about the state of the world.
On a completely different note... Politics...
Stephane Dion is now the official leader of the Liberal party (and not Michael Ignatieff - the media's favourite). I wonder how the party will fare with the new leadership? Lately, I've been too disenchanted with Canadian politics to really critique, or even to pay attention to it.
The one thing I would like, before there is an election, is for the GST to be cut by one more percent. I wonder if that will truly happen before another election is called?
Is Quebec a nation?? I'm so confused... What distinguishes a nation within a nation, from a province? Can BC be declared a nation within a nation?? Or is this ethnic based... can First Nations be considered a nation within a nation??
In Entertainment news...
Britney ditched K-Fed, but she's picked up another dud - Paris Hilton!
Jessica Simpson was singing a Dolly Parton song, in honour of her, and couldn't sing it without cue cards, and messing it up - apparently she was super nervous. She left the stage in tears and Dolly Parton looked disappointed with her attempt.
Katie Holmes actually went through with marrying Tom Cruise.
Snoop is a gangster - really??
Michael Richards apologizes over and over and over and over and over again. Give it a rest, people! Let him get on with his non-career and stop asking for a zillionth apology!
Mel Gibson feels for Michael Richards, and speaks out. Oy! Another person we don't need to hear from ever again...
Best comedy ever - Danny DeVito is drunk on The View, and rants about Bush!
Comment about world's politics and news...
Blech! *shivers*

PS3 is not trivial. I would kill my own brother just to have one. Mind you I would kill him only for a nickel as he isnt worth much. Anyways you should let this get to you cuz human beings have been rotten since the beginning of time and will continue to be until we die.... just accept it as i have and try and dissassociate with those types of people.
Celine Dion? No Stephane Dion! That's what Canada needed another boring nerd named "Stephen" trying to become leader. yawn and snore. God I miss the days of Frenchie Jean... at least with him you could laugh at his french and english.
GST! To BE CUT! hahahahahaha the conservatives are already wishing they didnt make that mistake. Lets see after all of this military spending if they can get a balanced budget. GST cut not likely.
Quebec is a nation in Canada. Much like the French Quarter of New Orleans is a nation of the US.... ah no. But if Im wrong I right now am declaring myself a Second Nations person and I want to run my own country which will reside at Main and Hastings. That's my base.
Entertainment news. I hope Mel Gibson and Michael Richards make a movie. Maybe they can remake "Birth of a Nation" if you dont know what I am refering to look it up as this joke is wicked.
