yep, feeling wet.
The weather's been wet and wetter. Today is drier, but still wet.
Last week, water was leaking from outside into the basement. My floor was wet and I didn't have time to mop up as I hurried out the door to work. When I returned home, everything was okay - a teensy damp but no flood or anything. It usually happens once a year, and so hopefully it won't get wet inside, again (due to rain).
For the last few days, I've been going to work with the bottom half of my pant-legs all drenched. Umbrellas didn't help because of the wind, so I was dry up top, and wet on the bottom. Sometimes, depending on the direction of the wind, I'd be wet at the front, and dry in the back.
I also noticed that it's too wet for the spiders too, because they've migrated inside. Just two days ago, I found three spiders. Ugly ones too **shivers**. I caught 2 out of the 3. Hopefully the 3rd one will emerge soon and I can kill it. I always thought that spiders liked damp places, but maybe it's too puddly out there?? Who knows?? I hate spiders. They're sooooo grosss!!!
Oh well... I HOPE it stops raining like this, soon. I like rain and all, but not like this...
