Spring Cleaning

Spring Cleaning means finding extra change around the house. Close to $9 to be exact! Woohoo!

Spring cleaning also means sifting through a year's worth of papers, mail, receipts, books, etc.. I've re-alphabatized my CD's, and re-ordered 2 or 3 books back into their copyright order... Yes, my books are shelved by copyright which means all my Victorian novels are grouped together, and all my contemporary novels are grouped together - to me, it makes much more sense to order it this way, than by alphabetical order. It gives me a sense of history in terms of social progress.

My place is a mess, but slowly coming together. I have a lot of stuff that needs to be sorted, recycled, or filed. I'm a pack rat.

I'm Spring Cleaning mostly because I just purchased a sewing machine (yay!) and I need to find space for it. I'm also getting tired of rifling through my piles of stuff to find one sheet of paper. In any case, my efforts will be rewarding, because I find that the tidier my place is, the easier it is for me to think clearly and to complete my projects.

Plus, I need desk space to do my taxes! :( Such a chore!
