Relaxation

My muscles were sooo achey after my first massage therapy session, but now they are soooo relaxed! It feels good to have a broader range of motion now! Granted, I'm not 100% better, but I'm much better from before! I have one more session before the therapist goes on her vacation, and before I start training for the Sun Run again. This year's Sun Run time will be the same or slower from last year. My running buddies haven't been training, and most of my training involves walking rather than running. Oh well. This year, everyone got busy with everything else and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who's slacked off on the training bit.

Last night I had fun making home-made ice-cream. I can't wait to give it a try tonight. My twin and I modified the recipe by putting in less sugar, and by adding chocolate graham crackers to half of the ice-cream batch. I hope it turns out yummy! This particular recipe called for evaporated milk, which should add a creamy and sweeter flavour to it.

I am looking forward to a shorter week, this week, and then to finally go away and relax on Salt Spring Island and to spend some time with SHC. I'm hoping the weather will improve so that we can go on some nice long hikes. We'll probably hike anyway, even if the weather is a bit rainy, but it won't be as enjoyable! In any case, I'll be counting down the days until I board the ferry!
