When the sun is out, my mind wanders. It's time for me to give myself a Spring Break! It's not just kids and students that need a break... working adults need it too. Since January, there has been NO statutory holiday or break, and there contnues to be no break until Easter in April. How exhausting is that, eh?
I've been getting testy at work, and rather lazy too. My energy is drained except on the days when I consume a lot of sugar - then I'm full of restless energy and I still don't want to work!
And now all my travel plans are running amok.
My international travel thing probably ain't gonna happen. It costs too much money, and I'd rather spend that money on a luxury trip instead of a working trip. I feel a little guilty about that... choosing a luxury holiday over a holiday where I'm helping developing countries. I suppose we're just too spoiled in the Western world.
Right now I just need a relaxation holiday - to go someplace where I do absolutely nothing and where I don't have to worry about tutoring, scouts, work, etc.. A weekend would be nice. A full week would even be better. I'm just mentally drained and extremely agitated.
