Guitar / Music
Now that the piano has been moved out of my place, and although I barely touched it, I miss it. I can no longer fiddle on it when I'm bored, nor can I just "make stuff up" when I feel weird or moody. So now I am looking to replace that musical void by buying a guitar. Or at least, considering buying a guitar. Problem is, I know nothing about guitars.
I used to play the electric bass guitar for one year in elementary school, but I've forgotten everything. Once I figure out the scales, it should be easy enough... I don't want to purchase a "student" guitar. I'd like a real quality one (preferably used). Steel strings. Maybe I'll hit a few guitar stores this week and see if I find something I like. I already tried hitting one of the bigger stores downtown but they were rather busy and I didn't have time to wait around for someone to help me.
Caffeine - reiterating the fact that I am now addicted to caffeine again
Canine Identity Crisis - My poor favourite neighbourhood dog Hero has an identity crisis. Apparently he thinks he is human and is confused by the sight of other dogs, which is why he's aggressive towards them, so says a trainer. Hopefully some further training will correct his identity confusion, and then he'll be able to learn to play with other doggies.
Olympics - I haven't been really addicted to the Winter Olympics this year, not as much as previous years. My favourite sports to watch are/were skiing (moguls), louge, speed skating, curling, and skating. This year skating didn't appeal to me at all, and I only tried to watch speed skating on a semi-regular basis.
As for Olympic hockey, I don't see the big deal in Canada losing to another country other than US. It had to happen some day. It just means we need to take the sport more seriously and not just think of ourselves as a class above all others. So we lost, big deal! The other team was playing better anyway.
Blasé - What's the meaning of blasé anyway? Well, that's how I've been feeling lately about world politics, entertainment politics, etc.. Everything is the same these days. Nothing changes. In fact, that's how I've been feeling about everything lately. My body's too tired and achy. It's probably because I've been sick for over a week, but still, both my mind and body just want to sleep and have no responsibilities for just a little while. That would be a lovely vacation - no work and all play!

try the pawn shops for the guitar. they should be cheaper than tom lee's music or anywhere else.
On the caffeine note i never new that you went off it. At least it's not crystal-meth. or something even worse... happy meals.
Hey I'd rather be a dog, and many girls say i am, so maybe we can switch places.
As for the olympics i found the canada exit in hockey so sweet as they were so undeserving to win due to the fact that most of the other teams they played against had better "TEAM" chemistry. Canada has broken a record with 20 or so medals so we should be proud and as for those accomplishments I am. But as for hockey... screw em. Other teams are just as good and we have to accept that.
I believe that BLASE is a french term meaning " we just lost another war and I dont feel good about it right now" or " no I dont want to shower because I feel lathargic" Obviously I dont really know but I do hope you feel better soon. l8r stuberry
