Diners

Truckstop diners are the best! They have good greasy cheap food that100% fills you up, and more! In Osoyoos I had a beef-dip with cheese and mushrooms with a side of fries that was super yummy! Osoyoos is located at a highway junction, so I knew that would be a great place to find an awesome diner, and I was right! My friend and I stopped off at a 24 hour diner, there, and filled our stomachs!

Another secret about diners, is that when you stop off at a small Canadian BC town, the best place for french fries are at Chinese Canadian diners. I don't know what type of oil they use for the fries, or what fries distributor they're from, but they're always golden and crispy! Forget McD's fries, or NY fries - they won't compare!

When I'm on the road, and not in a hurry, I will always try to find myself a diner to try. And why not?? By visiting the diners, you're also contributing to the local economy, and to small business - forget those large chains! I prefer something unique, and a little more "old-fashioned" too!
