Pet peeves

I have some pet peeves, and here are some that I came across in the past week.

1. Don't diss women authors. (this just happened today which is why it's at the top of my list).
2. Don't complain about rainy weather. It's good for the environment.
3. Don't praise unusually warm and sunny weather. It's unusual which means it's not normal which is bad. Whacky weather is bad, normal weather is not.
4. Don't admire people just because they look pretty or hot. Beauty fades. Personality only grows.
5. Don't drive like a neurotic nut. You want to arrive at your destination in one piece, not in a hearse.
6. Don't live your life through someone else. You have choices, so empower yourself with them.
7. If you keep complaining and do nothing about it, nothing will change. You will only keep complaining.
8. Don't worship Hollywood actors. They are entertainers, not religious icons.
